Built by people who've been on both sides of the counter
CONSTRUCTABID is owned and run by two partners. One is a general contractor with more than ten years of running jobs. The other has spent more than twenty years selling building materials for a supplier. Our team members bring additional years of contractor and material supply experience of their own — more than 45 years combined across our team. Together, we've bid the work, read the plans, and taken the calls when an order came up short or a truck showed up with too much.
We started CONSTRUCTABID to give you the material list we always wished we had: itemized from your plans, ready to order from, with supplier pricing available, so you spend less time counting and less money on surprises.

What do I need to send?
Your project plans. After you contact us, we email you an invitation to your secure client portal, where you upload your plan sets. We'll tell you which file types work best when we send the invitation.
How long does it take?
Most lists are delivered in 48 to 72 hours, depending on the size and complexity of your plans. Need it sooner? Ask about expedited delivery when you contact us.
What does it cost?
Residential projects are a flat price set by project size, from $750 for projects under 1,000 sq ft. Contractors and industry professionals work with a dedicated sales partner who sets pricing for their needs. See the pricing section on this page.
How does pricing work?
Every list starts with itemized quantities from your plans. Supplier pricing is available with your list: ask for it when you contact us, and we'll explain how it works and any cost before we start.
How accurate is the list?
Your list is built from your plans. Where pricing is included, it reflects current supplier pricing. Prices change and stock varies by supplier and location, so use the list as a planning tool and confirm prices and availability when you order. See our Terms and Conditions for details.
Can I get better prices by buying through CONSTRUCTABID?
Possibly. Through our supplier and brand relationships, we may be able to offer better pricing on select suppliers and brands. What's available depends on your project, so ask us and we'll tell you what applies.

Can you recommend a contractor, supplier or brand?
We're building a network of vetted contractors by trade, along with suppliers and brands. Tell us about your project and the trade or brand you're considering, and we'll let you know what we can recommend. Contractors, suppliers and brands can also ask to join. Some placements are sponsored, and we label them.
Do I have to be a contractor?
No. Residential clients, contractors and industry professionals all start the same way: choose the option that fits you on the contact page and tell us about your project.
Is my information private?
We use your details only to respond to your request. Plans are uploaded in your secure client portal, not through the website form. Read our privacy policy.
